Alicia Toldi is a creative organizer and artist living rurally on the Western Slope of Colorado. Her artistic practice is a careful vortex of drawing, found images, traditional folk craft, fiber, and plant matter - and her passion is mending (anything from old clothes to ecosystems). Alicia is the vice president of the Elsewhere Studios board and when she isn’t carving spoons, sewing, or collaborating with plants, she works at the local bookshop.
Carolina Porras Monroy (she/her/hers) is a Floridian Guatemalan-American currently living in North Adams, Massachusetts where she is Studios Residency Manager at MASS MoCA after four years of managing Elsewhere Studios, the rural residency on the Western Slope of Colorado that started it all for PWA. Currently, her creative practice involves working with her hands in any way through drawing, textile work, and repairing bikes. Carolina is a 2018-19 recipient of Alliance of Artist Communities' Diversity + Leadership Fellowship.
